Cumming resident wins Brenau's top academic award

GAINESVILLE - Cumming resident Ashley Tolland, an occupational therapy major at Brenau University, this month received the Baxter-Bryan Award, the university's highest academic award for students. Tolland is a rising senior at Brenau.

Tolland, selected from the top five students of the residential Women's College in Gainesville after a rigorous application process involving faculty, staff, trustees and others, will receive full scholarship, including tuition, books, fees and room and board, for her senior year
