CUMMING - A year ago, a recession-related process was put in place in Forsyth County to help landowners caught in the development downturn but now it is being ended.
The program allowed for expedited rezonings in certain cases to help affected land owners to have property rezoned back to an "agricultural" classification.
County officials say about 1,000 acres were rezoned using the process.
