Ten teachers recognized as 'life changers at work'

GAINESVILLE - Ten Gainesville-Hall County educators were honored Tuesday as "Masters in Teaching."

They were cited as "life changers at work" during a morning-long event on the Brenau University East Campus at Featherbone Communiversity which included a roundtable discussion. The honorees represent public and private schools in Hall County and Gainesville as well as three colleges.

They are: Joyce Fowler, Lakeview Academy; Ken Frank, Brenau University; Melissa Fraser, Fair Street IB World School; Joan Ivey, Lanier TechnicalCollege; Deb Kroll, Brenau Academy; Bill Morgan, Riverside Military Academy; Darrell Skogman, Chestatee High School; Tracy Troutman, Fair Street IB World School; Cindy White, DaVinci Academy; and, Cathy Whiting, Gainesville State College.
