The new URL directs viewers to TV18's page on the City of Gainesville website, www.gainesville.org. The page includes videos of all TV18 productions, a new programming schedule and bulletin board information.
All TV18 programming, including Hall County Commission and Gainesville City Council meetings, has been available online since the City of Gainesville launched its new website in December 2010. The videos are hosted by Vimeo, a video-sharing website. For those without cable service, TV18 shows can be accessed on the Vimeo channel by streaming media devices and web-enabled televisions.
TV18 is a governmental and educational access channel that is jointly funded and operated by Gainesville and Hall County governments. TV18 programming runs on Charter cable channel 18 and Comcast channel 23. Learn more about your local government with Eye on Gainesville nightly at 7 p.m. and Hall County Connection at 7:30 p.m. County Commission and City Council meetings air nightly at 8 p.m.
