Tennis: Lady Falcons still perfect in 8-AAAA

ATHENS -- The Flowery Branch girls tennis team remained unbeaten in Region 8-AAAA after taking a 5-0 win over Clarke Central Tuesday.

The Lady Falcons (16-1, 9-0 in region) did not drop a set in getting the victory.

Anna Kate Shaw won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 singles; Elizabeth Mallory won 6-0, 6-0 at no. 2 singles; and Morgan Reed won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.

The No. 1 doubles team of Dani Taylor and Durden Smith won 6-1,6-0 and the No. 2 doubles team of Madison Smith and Bekki Benton won 6-0, 6-0.
