Baseball: Falcons whip Habersham Central

FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Flowery Branch offense again flexed its muscles getting a 12-hit attack to whip Habersham Central 11-3 on Wednesday in Region 8A-AAAA baseball action at Hog Mountain Sports Complex.

After Habersham grabbed a quick 1-0 lead, the Falcons scored 10 runs in the first three innings to grab the lead for good. Andrew Laur got the win on the mound for Flowery Branch.

Brody Thomas paced the offense with three hits and two RBI. Laur added two hits and RBI at the plate, Jesse Brookshire had a home run and three RBI, and Kyle Famiano (had a hit and two RBI for the Falcons.
