Tennis: GHS boys knock off West Hall

OAKWOOD -- Gainesville swept the doubles play to pull away for a 4-1 win over West Hall Tuesday in boys Region 8B-AAA action at Alberta Park.

The Red Elephants got wins from Ryan Joiner and Jackson Goble in singles. The No. 1 doubles team of Austin Miller and Jake Maddox and the No. 2 team of Alex Zais and Alexander Davis both took tough three set wins to clinch the match.

Max Wilson at No. 2 singles got West Hall's only win.

The Spartans next will play host to North Hall on Wednesday.
