Are We Looking at the "CORRECT" Immigration Reform?

******************<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> If a culture is going to exist, the fertility rate must be 2.11 children per family. Anything less and that culture will decline. In other words as a population shrinks so does a culture.<br /> <br /> I hope America will take note of what is happening in Europe. The fertility rate is 1.38. This is impossible to correct. Europe will no longer exist will this rate. <br /> <br /> While I can not personally verify it, I discovered one figure that reported over 80% of all Immigration world-wide, since 1990 has been Islamic in nature.<br /> <br /> In Southern France there are more mosques than churches. 30% of children in Southern France age 20 and younger are Islamic. By 2027 one in five Frenchmen will be Muslim. In 39 years France will be Muslim.<br /> <br /> In the last 30 years Great Britain's Muslim population has soared above 2.2 million Muslims. According to the United Kingdom Office for National Statistics, the name Muhammad has become the second most popular name among male newborns in the country. There are 1000 mosques in Great Britain. Many of these were former churches.<br /> <br /> The 2002 census found 14.5 million Muslims in Russia (around 10% of the population). However, in 2005, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Seigei Lavrov advanced the number of 20 million. Others claim that Russia could have as many as 26 million, including Azeri and Central Asian migrants. Some research reports that in a few years, 40% of the Russian army will be Islamic. <br /> <br /> In Belgium some estimate that One quarter of Brusselians under 20 years are of 'Muslim origin'. As in the other countries of the EU the Muslim population in Belgium is very young. Almost 35 percent of the Turks and Moroccans, the largest Muslim groups in the country, are below 18 years old, compared with 18 percent of the native Belgians. As a result of the age and spatial distribution, very high proportions of the youth in certain areas are Muslim. 1/3 of all European children will be born to Muslim families by 2025. <br /> <br /> The German government was among the first to talk about these trends publicly. It says Germany may will be a Muslim state by 2050. Today Muslims represent 4% of Germany's total population. However, many report that this number is flawed and that in the next 20 years the Muslim population will soar to over 100 million. <br /> <br /> In Canada Islam is the fastest growing religion. In Canada, Muslims represent nearly 2 % of population nearly 1 million.<br /> <br /> In 1970 there were 100,000 Muslims in America. Some research today points to the possibility of there being over 9 million Muslims in America today. (Fairness requires that I state that Estimates of the present U.S. Muslim population vary from 2.4 million to over 9 million.) It trouble me that we don't know for sure!<br /> <br /> President Obama said while in Cairo during a state visit, that there are "nearly seven million American Muslims in our country today."<br /> <br /> Given Projected rates of growth of Islam, it is possible in 7-10 years that Islam will be the Dominate religion in America.<br /> <br /> Real and meaningful Immigration Reform is important. Tough decisions must be made. Islam does NOT get a "pass" when it comes to immigration reform. For those of you who think it is unfair to "Limit" any group's immigration numbers, I would say, decisions regarding numbers of immigrants are made every day. <br /> <br /> Is it Sensible to allow ONE group of immigrants to dominate? <br /> <br /> Is it good for America to allow a high percentage of immigrants to come from a Muslim culture whose Worldview is so "Anti-Western"? <br /> <br /> Our Immigration policy should reflect a welcoming of those with a Culture and Worldview that is compatible to America's Core Values and Vision. Do we "owe" immigration privileges to every group of people Equally?<br /> <br /> Maybe America is NOT FOR EVERYONE.
