Dedric Ware, Bombard honored for efforts with TMC

CLEVELAND -- Truett-McConnell College men's basketball offensive standouts Roderick Bombard and Dedric Ware were named to the 2010-2011 All-South Region Team during NCCAA playoffs.

Both players put up exceptional seasons. Bombard was recently named SSAC Player of the Week and was ranked No. 1 in total 3-point baskets scored and sixth in total scoring in the nation by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).

Ware, an East Hall High graduate, also proved to be a key player for the Truett-McConnell Bears this season. Ware consistently scored in double digits, including a 33-point game against Shorter University and a 30-point game against Brewton-Parker College. Ware averaged 15 points and shot 50 percent from the court during the season.
