More than 1100 gather for D-Now

GAINESVILLE - Typically, Disciple Now events are conducted by individual churches, but for 2011, nine Hall County churches joined forces for the youth evangalism event.

The theme for this this year's event was Renown; featured speaker was Anson McMahon and featured performer was Kristian Stanfill.

Organizers said 765 students registered for the annual event, while 353 adults volunteered to facilitate this year's D-Now.

The nine partipating churches were Airline Baptist, Chestnut Mountain, Chicopee Baptist, Corinth Baptist, Lakewood Baptist, Lanier Hills, Montgomery Memorial Baptist, Pleasant Hill Baptist and Riverbend Baptist.
