FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Flowery Branch girls tennis team won for the second time in as many days in Region 8-AAAA after whipping Apalachee 5-0 on Friday.
In singles play, Anna Kate Shaw won 6-2, 6-3, Elizabeth Mallory won 6-1, 6-1, and Morgan Reed won 6-0, 6-0.
In doubles, the No. 1 team of Dani Taylor and Durden Smith won 6-2, 6-0 and the No. 2 team of Madison Smith and Bekki Benton won 6-1, 6-1.
