Whisenant named to state Board of Optometry

ATLANTA - Gov. Nathan Deal has named Jody Whisenant of Gainesville to the state Board of Optometry. <br /> <br /> Whisenant is a partner in Eye Care Associates and is a past president of the Georgia Optometric Association and the 9th District Optometric Society. <br /> <br /> Whisenant attended Walla Walla College and Southern Missionary College before earning a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry. <br /> <br /> He and his wife, Gayle, have three daughters and several grandchildren. <br />
