Tennis: No. 6 West Hall boys rout Walnut Grove

WALNUT GROVE -- The Class AAA sixth-ranked West Hall boys tennis team continues to roll through Region 8B-AAA after demolishing Walnut Grove 5-0 Thursday.

The Spartans (12-0, 8-0 in subregion) lost just three games in getting the win.

Brenden Worth, Max Wilson, and Connor McFall all took 6-0, 6-0 wins in the singles matches.

In doubles, the No. 1 team of Jacob Bruns and Grayson won 6-1, 6-0 and the No. 2 team of Ryan Casey and Sam Pinson won 6-0, 6-2 to complete the sweep.

West Hall will play host to arch-rival Johnson Friday in a match that was rescheduled from Tuesday.
