Tennis: Lady Falcons ace Clarke Central

FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Flowery Branch girls tennis team lost just two total games in taking a 5-0 sweep over Clarke Central in Region 8-AAAA action Thursday.

The Lady Falcons improved to 9-1 on the season with the win.

In singles, Anna Kate Shaw at No. 1 and Elizabeth Mallory at No. 2 each won matches won 6-0, 6-0. Morgan Reed won 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.


The No. 1 doubles team of Dani Taylor and Durden Smith and the No. 2 doubles team of Madison Smith and Bekki Benton both won 6-0, 6-0 to complete the sweep.
