Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell says it's thought to have started from a grill on the deck. Kimbrell said the homeowners said they believe they had left the grill on after cooking dinner Thursday night.
"Upon arrival firefighters found fire and smoke showing from the rear of a home," Kimbrell said. "Upon investigation they discovered the deck...was burning and beginning to extend into the structure. The fire was extinguished quickly and without incident."
