Tennis: West Hall boys blank Falcons

FLOWERY BRANCH -- The West Hall boys swept Flowery Branch 5-0 Wednesday in tennis action.

The Spartans (8-0) did not drop a set in earning the victory.

At No. 1 singles, Brenden Worth beat Taylor Fiorello 6-1, 6-2 while Max Wilson beat Cris Dilidili 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. Connor Mcfall's 6-4, 6-1 win over A.J. Morris at No. 3 completed the singles sweep.

The No. 1 doubles tandem of Tatum Scruggs and Min Kim beat Luke Smith and Anthony Monacella 6-3, 6-3 and Jacob Bruns and Grayson Kyle beat Issac Black and Christopher Hedden 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.

West Hall will play host to Oconee County Thursday in a Region 8B-AAA matchup.
