OAKWOOD - The Oakwood City Council Monday night authorized the city staff to solicit proposals from consultants to conduct a citywide development impact fee to fund capital projects.

The staff and the development impact fee advisory committee are to return with a recommendation on a consultant and a contract award.

Also Monday night, the council gave the okay for City Manager Stan Brown to execute a task order for Clough Harbor and Associates to proceed with roadway and grading plans associated with the proposed Adult Learning Center. The project will include a new road access onto Thurmon Tanner Parkway for Oakwood Elementary School.
