Girls basketball: Lady Falcons fall to Apalachee

BETHLEHEM -- The FLowery Branch girls could not get their first two-game win streak since mid-December after taking a 54-38 loss to Apalachee Friday night in Region 8A-AAAA action.

The Lady Falcons (7-17, 2-7 in subregion) were paced by Tavia Sykes with 14 points.

Flowery Branch had beaten Winder-Barrow on Tuesday.
