Boys basketball: Late 3-pointer lifts Commerce

COMMERCE -- Commerce clinched the top seed from Region 8A-A Saturday night with a 50-49 win over Lakeview Academy.

The Tigers' Tyler Gamble hit a 3-pointer with four seconds left to give them the win.

Gamble paced Commerce with 16 points. Anthony Norris added 14 points for the Tigers (15-5, 8-2 in region).

The Lions (12-11, 5-2 8-A) were led by Jackson Wells with 21 points. Lakeview will close out the regular season Tuesday playing host to Tallulah Falls.
