Girls basketball: big second half propels Jefferson to win

OAKWOOD -- Jefferson outscored Johnson 31-13 in the second half to pull away for a 49-25 win Tuesday night at the oakwood gym.

The Lady Dragons (13-8) led just 18-12 at halftime but blew the game open with a 19-3 run in the third quarter. Johnson (13-9) never recovered.

Skylar Evanson paced Jefferson with 27 points.

Caitlin Sloan led Johnson with 13 points and eight rebounds.
