HCC authorizes construction mgr. for ball fields at Cool Springs Park

GAINESVILLE - Hall County Commissioners have authorized a construction manager for the construction of ball fields, with lighting, at Cool Springs Park.

The project will have a "guaranteed" maximum price of $1.87 million with a "tentative" completion date of next July 1.

Plans for the park were the subject of discussion on several occasions earlier this year as the commission looked at ways to fund the work and considered and re-considered various amenities for the facility.
