Boys basketball: Dawson stays unbeaten after win over Gilmer

DAWSONVILLE -- The Dawson County boys basketball team remained unbeaten after beating Gilmer 55-48 Friday night at home.

The Tigers (4-0) used a 15-6 first quarter to take the lead and then held on the rest of the way. They led 26-18 at halftime and took a 42-30 lead into the fourth quarter.

Tyler Dominy again paced the Tigers with 24 points. Cameron Chester added 10 points for Dawson County.

Ryan Lowery led Gimer (3-1) with 11 points.

Dawson County next will travel to Fellowship Christian on Tuesday.
