The Lady War Eagles let a first quarter slip away in a 56-48 loss to North Forsyth at the Chestatee gym.
Chestatee (3-1) led 12-8 after the first quarter but the Lady Raiders (3-1) used a 17-11 second quarter to grab ther lead. North Forsyth then outscored Chestatee 31-25 in the second half to pull away for the lead.
Chestatee was paced by 19 points and six rebounds from Megan Kenimer. Erin Clifford added 18 points for the Lady War Eagles.
Chestatee next will travel to Lakeview Academy on Saturday.
