UNDATED - Jackson Electric Membership Cooperation and Georgia Power reported scattered power outages as a result of Wednesday afternoon's stormy weather.

Nearly 350 Jackson EMC customers lost power at the height of the storm, according to company officials. The outages are scattered in Hall, Gwinnett, Madison and Lumpkin counties.

Meanwhile, Darrell Snyder with Georgia Power said they had roughly 280 customers without power at one point in two Gainesville locations.

"One is over in the Golf Club Drive area off Thompson Bridge Road and the other is in the Cumberland Drive area," said Snyder.
