GAINESVILLE - The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce and University of Georgia Cooperative Extension Service held their annual Farm-City Breakfast Tuesday morning, celebrating the farm family-urban resident connection.

Held at the East Hall Community Center, it featured as guest speaker Bryan Tolar, President of the Georgia Agribusiness Council, the state's trade association for the entire food and fiber industry.

Since 1995, the breakfast has recognized local farmers and those working in agribusiness and has encouraged the building of strong relationships between the Gainesville area's rural and urban community and city businesses and leaders.
