Police are now investigating five such crimes in the past two weeks.
The latest crime was reported Wednesday afternoon outside the Aderhold Learning Center. An alert from campus police said a GSU student reported that someone came from behind him and snatched his Apple I Pad from his hand.
On Monday afternoon, another student told police she was walking near Piedmont Avenue and Auditorium Place when two people came up behind her and snatched her cell phone out of her hand.
Earlier, a student told police that three men approached him in a parking deck, choked him, kicked him repeatedly and stole his backpack.
