First, a rabid skunk came into contact with two dogs on Oct. 31, according to officials with Hall County Animal Services.
They added that a young man then came in contact with a rabid raccoon in that same vicinity later that week and was immediately treated for rabies.
The incidents bring the total number of confirmed rabies cases in Hall County this year to 12.
Rabies alert signs have been posted in the area where the animals were located.
