The Board determines the level at which sex offenders in the state register upon their release from custody. The board reviews each offender and determines their likelihood of reoffending. It then classifies each offender as Level 1, Level 2 or Sexually Dangerous Predator. The board is made up of 15 members statewide including victim advocates, law enforcement and clinicians.
Strayhorn is employed as a victim advocate by Northeastern Judicial Circuit District Attorney Lee Darragh, where she has served as director of victim services in the Dawson County Office for 13 years.
She is a Gainesville High School graduate who holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Jacksonville State University.
