Union County snaps streak, beats Rabun County

TIGER -- Union County snapped a six-game losing streak with a 10-7 win over Rabun County Friday night in Region 8B-AA.

The Panthers (2-6, 1-3 in subregion) got a 2-yard TD run from T. Bentley in the first quarter and a field goal from Eric Hougrand in the second and thenm held on in the second half for the win.

Rabun County cut the score to 10-7 in the third quarter but Union County twice stopped the Wildcats (3-5, 1-3) on downs to preserve the win.
