Funeral services set for former Hall Co. tax commissioner

GAINESVILLE - Funeral services will be held Saturday for former Hall County Tax Commissioner W. Byron Turk.

Turk passed away early Thursday morning. He was 94.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday at St. Paul United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Friday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Turk served as Hall County Tax Commissioner for 28 years.
