Reward offered for recovery of missing man

GAINESVILLE - Family members are offering a $5000 reward for information that leads to a missing Gainesville man.

Thomas E. Funk, Jr. has been missing from his Oconee Circle home in East Hall County since October 1, according to Hall County authorities. His roommate told investigators he awoke the morning of October 2 to find the 47-year-old Funk missing, although his cell phone and vehicle remained at the residence. Funk has an injured foot as the result of an accident at the home just before he disappeared.

Authorities say Funk is 6 feet tall and weighs 155 lbs.

Hall County Sheriff's investigators are asking anyone with information on Funk to contact them.
