Hall County Schools Supt. Will Schofield says 100 percent of participating parents voted this week in favor of seeking charter school status and 94 percent of teachers voted "yes."
Schofield said the proposal could go before the county school board as early as Oct. 24. If it is approved at that level, it would have to get approval from the state Board of Education.
He said the plan calls for school-wide implementation of a program currently used in the fourth and fifth grades at the school.
Schofield adds that parents at Flowery Branch High School will vote on charter status for their school next week.
