GAINESVILLE - Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens says Georgia's new immigration law does not require "in person" business license renewals, a possibility discussed at a Hall County Commission work session earlier this week.
County Administrator Randy Knighton said at Thursday's commission meeting that Olens' office had issued a letter stating that the law does not require business owners to present verification of legal residency in person, and that electronic submissions are acceptable.
