2nd Toccoa official leaving for job in Gainesville

GAINESVILLE - Hall County's new finance director is the second Toccoa city official to announce plans to leave Toccoa within the past few weeks for a job in local government in Gainesville.

Vickie Neikirk is Toccoa's finance director and will begin her new job in Gaineville Nov. 4, it was announced Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the City of Gainesville recently hired Tocca Public Utilities Director Don Dye to serve as assistant public utilities director. Spokeswoman Catiel Felts says Dye will replace the retiring Tim Collins, a longtime City of Gainesville employee.
