Georgia's Mitchell out with hamstring injury

ATLANTA -- Coach Mark Richt says Georgia's leading receiver Malcolm Mitchell will miss the Bulldogs' game at Vanderbilt this week with a hamstring injury.

Mitchell had three catches for 126 yards before leaving Saturday's 20-12 win at Tennessee when he injured his left hamstring in the second half.

Mitchell, a freshman, leads Georgia (4-2) with 25 receptions for 438 yards. He has three TD catches.

Richt said Sunday he hopes Mitchell can return when Georgia plays Florida on Oct. 29. The Bulldogs have a week off after this week's game at Vanderbilt.
