HCSO receives traffic safety award

GAINESVILLE - The Hall County Sheriff's Office recently received state recognition from the Governor's Office of Highway Safety for its efforts in traffic safety.

The department competed with other sheriff's agencies of the same size across the state placing second place in their category and this isn't the first time it has received honors for its efforts in traffic safety.

Since 2003, the department has been the recipient of several awards and honors at both the state and national level.
