The Buford native erased the Eagles' first deficit of the year with a score from five yards out in the first quarter. Swope also scored GSU's second touchdown, scoring on a 12-yard toss from Jaybo Shaw (Flowery Branch) in the second quarter.
Swope and the No. 1 ranked Eagles will be back at home in Paulson Stadium this Saturday against Chattanooga at 3 p.m. The game will broadcast on the SoCon's TV network.
