Girls basketball: No. 3 Walnut Grove too much for West Hall

LOGANVILLE -- Class AAA No. 3 Walnut Grove opened the game with a 19-5 run and West Hall never recovered in a 53-33 loss in Region 8B-AAA action.

Amber Johnson had nine points to lead the Lady Spartans (8-14, 3-6 in subregion).

West Hall travels to Gainesville on Monday.
