Girls basketball: Lakeview falls to Athens Christian

ATHENS -- Mona Abraham scored nine points and Taylor Handte added eight but it wasn't enough for Lakeview Academy in a 36-24 loss to Athens Christian Friday night.

Lakeview Academy (2-17, 1-10 Region 8-A) trailed just 17-15 at halftime but was held to just three points in the third quarter.

The Lady Lions next will travel to Athens Academy on Saturday.
