Girls basketball: Lady Vikings fall to No. 3 Rabun in OT

TIGER -- The East Hall girls overcame a 10-point deficit against Class AA No. 3 Rabun County but could not close out the game falling 61-60 in overtime to the Lady Wildcats.

A 23-10 third quarter, led by Morgan jackson, got the Lady Vikings (9-7, 2-2 Region 8A-AA) back in the game. Jackson finished with 22 points to lead east Hall and Jasmine Jenkins added 15 points.

Rabun County (17-0, 2-0) next will travel to No. 6 Fannin County (16-0, 5-0) in a battle for first place.

It has been a frustrating week for East Hall, which lost to Fannin by just three points and now to Rabun in overtime.

East Hall next will play host to Class A Whitfield Academy on Saturday.
