Girls basketball: Lady Falcons fall to Winder

WINDER -- The Flowery Branch girls basketball team fell to 0-3 in Region 8-AAAA after a tough 46-38 loss to Winder-Barrow Friday night.

Brittany Witt had 18 points to lead Winder (7-8, 2-1 in Region 8-AAAA).

Tavia Sykes had 12 and Kayla Robles had 10 for the Branch (4-12, 0-3) which has dropped three of their last four games overall.

The Lady Falcons next will play host to Jefferson Saturday at 4 p.m.
