Applications will be taken beginning Feb. 28 for Martin Technology Academy of Math and Science, McEver Arts Academy, Sardis Enrichment School and Wauka Mountain Multiple Intelligences Academy.
Each school will host a Parent Information Night for parents to learn more about the school and its charter initiatives during the first few weeks of the application period. A tour of each school will also be included.
The information nights will be held at 6:30 p.m. at each school on the following dates: Martin Feb. 28 and March 24; McEver: March 3; Sardis: February 24; and, Wauka Mountain: March 1.
Students will be accepted into a charter school through a lottery procedure; parents will be notified by June 15 whether their child was accepted.
Application deadline: May 6.
