Boys basketball: Dawson holds on to beat Fannin

BLUE RIDGE -- Dawson County held Fannin County to just 11 first half points in taking a Region 8A-AA win Saturday night.

Tyler Dominy poured in a game-high 19 points to lead dawson County (10-3, 1-1 in subregion). Jacob Evans added nine points and 18 rebounds for the Tigers.

Fannin County (3-6, 0-2) was led by Tyler McClure with 13 points. Jordan Farmer 11 added for the Rebels.

Dawson County next will play host to Jackson County on Tuesday.
