Winder marine's funeral Saturday

WINDER - Funeral services will be held Saturday for a Winder marine killed this month in Afghanistan.

Lance Cpl. Ryan Giese was killed January 7 during combat in Helmand province.

The 24-year-old marine is survived by his wife and parents as well as a number of other relatives.

Services will be held at First Christian Church of Atlanta at 11:00. Giese will be buried at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
