Chestatee, Buford, Rabun County, Fannin County and Towns County each earned spots in their classifications' top 10.
Chestatee (12-2, 1-0 Region 8A-AAA) comes in at No. 8 in Class AAA. The Lady War Eagles are scheduled to travel to Franklin County on Friday, though the weather could derail all games this week.
Meanwhile, three area teams made the Class AA top 10. Buford leads the way at No. 2. The Lady Wolves (10-1, 3-0 Region 6-AA) swept through a big slate of games last week, defeating three straight ranked foes, including Madison County (Class AAAA) and Decatur and Greater Atlanta Christian. Rabun County is just behind Buford at No. 3. The Lady Wildcats are 15-0 so far this season. Fannin County is also undefeated at 12-0 and is ranked sixth.
And, in Class A, Towns County comes in at No. 10. The Lady Indians (13-1) are scheduled to play host to Athens Christian on Friday.
