LAKE LANIER ISLANDS - It's still a few months before Christmas magic and the Magical Nights of Lights arrives at Lake Lanier Islands, but first a "haunting" will settle over the resort.

The South Hall resort's first "Haunted Nights of Lights"is set to begin Friday and continue through Halloween night.

It's a driving tour of the Islands similar to Magical Nights of Lights but with skeletons, witches and other ghoulish characters lurking in the shadows.

Admission is $20/car Mon.-Thurs.; $25/car Fri.-Sun.; $40/van (up to 15-passenger capacity). Additional charges for Haunted Village activities. See website for all-inclusive packages: www.lakelanierislands.com.
