On a scale of 60 to 99, Brenau scored 87 for academics, and university spokesman David Morrison said while The Princeton Review doesn't do "side to side" comparisons with other schools, he did some of his own.
"It's one of the highest scores of colleges and universities in the state, beating out [The University of] Georgia and Georgia Tech," said Morrison.
Morrison said the designation in the publication is a great recruiting tool for the university.
"By being in the book at all, it's good for recruiting because a lot of people consult these books, said Morrison. "They may not have heard about Brenau or they have heard about it and they just want to get more basic information."
