For the next six to eight weeks near Clarkesville in Habersham County, Aniston and co-star Paul Rudd will be shooting scenes for a movie to be titled Wanderlust .
Habersham Chamber of Commerce President Judy Taylor appeared last week on WDUN's The Local Hour and said that the 80-90 cast and crew are definitely boosting the county's economy, and not just because they need lodging.
"The restaurants are also really benefitting from this...the gift shops [too]," said Taylor.
Of course, there are the curious crowds, hoping to catch a glimpse of the movie's stars.
And that situation has at least one area resident concerned about the inherent road congestion that will develop as production crew and curiosity seekers traverse the area.
Amanda Sheriff lives on New Liberty Road where much of the production activity is currently taking place.
"They couldn' t have located the entrance to the movie set on more dangerous curve in the road. And people are here to rubberneck and see Jennifer. It's a dangerous area on a good day," said Sheriff.
"It makes me fear for my family and neighbors and everybody else who lives on this road," she added.
When asked if she had expressed her concerns to local authorities, Ms. Sheriff said, "No, I haven' t, but I am considering it."
The cast and crew are expected to be in Habersham County through the end of October.
