Road resurfacing planned in White Co.

CLEVELAND - Parts of U.S. 129 north and south of the Cleveland square will be closed at times next week for road resurfacing.

The work is planned ovenights - 8 p.m. 'til 7 a.m. - on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

"Georgia DOT Maintenance Crews will be milling out damaged asphalt and replacing it on us 129/State Route 11," according to Georgia DOT District Engineer Todd McDuffie. "No work will occur around the Cleveland Square."
