BUFORD - Two teens are recovering after being shot over the weekend in Buford while playing with a gun.

They are 14 and 15, according to Gwinnett County Police.

Officers say one of the boys shot himself in the leg and the other was hit by a ricochet that struck him in the buttocks.

This happened Saturday in the 4000 block of Sturgeon Circle in Buford.

One of the boys said the weapon belonged to his father. Police say it had been stolen in Houston 13 years ago. But they don't believe the father knew it was a stolen gun.
